No fewer than three persons were reported to have died and dozens of others sustained varying degrees of injuries when a building collapsed in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State.
The injured victims were said to have been rushed to the hospital by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after they were rescued under the rubbles by emergency officials at the site.
As gathered, the building collapsed when residents were preparing to leave home for the mosque to join other Muslims to perform the Friday worship.
Eyewitnesses narrated that emergency officials were still at the scene, rescuing occupants of the ill-fated building who may be trapped under the rubbles.
