A Boko Haram commander identified as Alhaji Wosai has surrendered to the Nigerian Army troops deployed for Operation Hadin Kai in Borno State.
Wosai was said to have turned himself in after escaping from the enclave of the insurgents in Garno village, where they have launched different operations in the state.
On Sunday, it was gathered that the terrorist surrendered yesterday, handling over his arms to the military.
A source, Zagazola Makama, narrated that he surrendered with one AK 47 rifle and 1 Magazine filled with 7.63MM 39 MM Special ammunition.
Madam added that militant is currently under the custody of the Army where he is being profiled and quizzed for engaging in such.
