Authorities in Russia have informed that one person has died and properties have been damaged following a missile attack launched in the country by Ukraine.
The country claimed that fire broke out when a drone fragment struck an apartment block which resulted in the death of the casualties and two others severely injured, needing medical intervention.
The incident led to others being evacuated by emergency rescuers, all occurrences leading to massive unrest at the scene.
Belgorod region governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that the incident which happened during early hours of Tuesday had a child alongside one other dead in the community.
Kursk governor, Alexander Khinshtein, mentioned that three people were injured in the area.
The government informed that investigations are ongoing in the incident.
