President Bola Tinubu has written to lawmakers in the Senate and House of Representatives requesting for an upward adjustment in the Year 2025 appropriation bill by N4.5 trillion.
With the request from the president, the budget size for Y2025 will increase from N49.7 trillion to N54.2 trillion, allowing the administration to have more revenue to address the citizens’ need.
