Regina Daniels denies stealing from Ned Nwoko

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has denied allegations that she and her family stole $40,000 from the home of her ex-husband, Delta South lawmaker Ned Nwoko, calling the accusations unfounded and part of an ongoing attempt to discredit her.

She also claimed that Nwoko is behind an arrest warrant issued against her, her mother Rita Daniels, her brother Sammy West, and associates, including her friend Ann.

Daniels made the disclosure during a live video amid ongoing disputes between the couple, including a custody battle over their two young sons.

In the video, she was joined by family members, including her brother Sammy and a relative known as Speedy, who had been summoned by police for questioning.

Police have reportedly made arrests in connection with the case, but neither Nwoko nor law enforcement authorities have publicly commented on the latest developments.

In a short Instagram post on Tuesday, Daniels described the police actions as unfair, insisting that the accusations are part of a broader attempt to tarnish her reputation during the separation.

According to her, “My dearest best friend was arrested yesterday, which makes me wonder: what exactly is the problem with my ex? I hate to believe, or further promote, the idea that the Nigerian police force lacks credibility. I fear for Ann’s safety as all of these are not being done legally.

“How did a case of domestic violence get overshadowed by drug addiction, and now theft? He previously accused Ann—whom he referred to as ‘tiny devilish Ann’, of being a drug supplier.

“Now that I took a bold step to clear that without fighting him, he comes up with theft? You have lived the best part of your life; why do you want mine to revolve around chaos?”
