Following the defeat on Saturday, Barcalona was now without a win in three of the league matches and sit six points back in mid-table under the new coach, Ronald Koeman.

Five minutes after the match commenced, Federico Valverde smashed Santiago Bernabeu team into the lead from Karim Benzema’s pass, leaving Barcelona without any other option than to attack their opponent.

After the second half started, Sergio Ramos scored the second goal through a controversial penalty from the spot after he was fouled by Clement Lenglet and Luka Modric smashed in a late third, sealing the fate of Barcelona.
