President Alassane Outtara has confirmed Robert Mambe return as Prime Minister and head of government in Ivory Coast.
Outtara affirmed the Mambe’s appointment in a published decree stating that the move centered on ensuring the necessities to strengthen national unity and accelerate economic momentum.
The President disclosed that the new measure is in line with his interest of translating his ambitions into concrete actions to meet up with the set targets and also ensure the organization of an executive branch following the December 27 legislative elections.
Mambe, who already held the position in October 2023, reaffirmed his total commitment to serving the nation by clarifying that the upcoming legislative government will be faithful to the vision of inclusive and balanced development.
”The objective remains clear, to build a Great Ivory Coast full of hope for all layers of the population by consolidating the country’s economic and social achievement,” the new appointee said after his appointment yesterday.
Mambe’s initial tenure at the designation which he held alongside being the Minister of Sports and Urban Planning, was marked by rigorous management of public affairs and active coordination of development projects.
He is expected to form a new government in the coming day.
