Premier League club, Nottingham Forest, has signed Brazilian defender, Jair Cunha, from Botafogo, to strengthen the team ahead of next season’s league trophy chase.
The five years deal will keep the defender, who was signed after a sterling performance at the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) club world cup performance, at the English club till 2030.
Cunha, who scored in the Brazilian club’s 2-1 win over United States team, Seattle Sounders, becomes the second signee at the City Ground outfit following the arrival of Igor Jesus who also joined from the same club.
Forest Chief Football Officer, Roos Wilson described the players arrival as critical as they prepare for the league and continental football next season.
