The Senior Special Assistant to Katsina State Governor on Security, Ibrahim Jibia, has been reported to have slumped and died during a wedding ceremony in the state.
Jibia, who was appointed less than a year ago by the governor, Aminu Masari, was confirmed dead by medical officials after efforts to resuscitate him proved abortive in the state.
As gathered, the deceased slumped and died while attending the wedding ceremony of Special Adviser to the governor on Security matters, Ibrahim Katsina at Banu Commasie, GRA Katsina.
After slumping at the wedding ceremony last Saturday, the aide was rushed to the Government House Hospital where he was pronounced dead by doctors.
It would be recalled that before his appointment, Jibia was a retired former staff of the Department of State Services (DSS), has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
