Apparently not satisfied with Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde’s governance style, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has described him as one that has since assumption of office engage in political masturbation.
MURIC added that the governor has within six months of assumption of office engage in actions that could lead to religious crisis in Oyo State.
The religious organization made the description on Friday in a statement signed by its Director, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, stressed that Makinde had become notorious in the state demolishing mosque.
MURIC further alleged that Makinde had lately utter derogatory remarks about a certain religious activist in the state.
According to the statement, we have no scintilla of doubt that the young governor (Makinde) is engaging in political masturbation.
“Yoruba people coexist peacefully in the same families and houses because they already know themselves. They hardly oppose one another’s faith as individuals but they are the most bitter enemies of their brothers’ and their neighbours’ religious institutions.
“The same brothers and sisters who belong to different religions and who live together peacefully in the same houses are the same faithful’s who fight tooth and nail against the interest of one another’s’ religious institution.
“We advise Governor Makinde to desist from his game of divide et impera. He should look very well before he leaps”.
