Boxing legend, Katie Taylor, has announced that she will retiring from the sport in the summer.
Taylor disclosed that she will go on a last stand in the ring in her native Ireland after which she would bring curtains down in the career following an over two year hiatus since facing Chantelle Cameron in back-back bouts in year 2023.
”It’s kind of like my retirement fight,” the Ireland born boxer
”I just want to fight in Dublin to end my career. Obviously we’re still hoping for Croke Park. We are hanging on to a bit of hope that it can happen. If it doesn’t happen there, there are plenty of options there.
”I’ll be ending my career in Ireland and I’m very, very excited about that.
