The Kaduna State Government has disclosed that it would establish two additional coronavirus testing centers in the state so as to increase screening capacity and aid its fight against the global pandemic.
It said that in addition to its first covid-19 testing center, two additional centers would be opened in the state including one at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria, and another in Yusuf Dantosho Hospital.
The Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, through a post made on his social media page on Friday, stated that the centers would cater to coronavirus cases and would only administer tests to persons who fit the viral infection case definition.
“Two additional testing centers will soon come on board…All centres are meant to test people that fit the case definition of COVID-19”, he wrote.
