The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the long-awaited results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates, just six weeks after the examination.
WAEC disclosed that all candidates who took part in the 2025 exams can now access their results online through the council’s website.
The examination body announced the release on Monday through a short statement released on its official social media handle.
According to the statement, “The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025 that the results have officially been released today”.
The Guild reports that the swift release of the results marks a continued effort by the examination body to maintain a timely and transparent examination process across West Africa.
