President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended the ban on the export of unprocessed shea nuts for another year to encourage local processing and boost value addition in Nigeria.
According to a statement issued by the State House on Wednesday, the extension will run from February 26, 2026, to February 25, 2027, following the initial six-month restriction introduced on August 26, 2025.
