Determined to prevent any vacuum in the country’s security architecture, the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has ordered the transfer of 13 Assistants Inspector-General of Police (AIG) to different zones, to sustain the ongoing efforts to curb crimes and protect lives as well as property in the country.
The redeployment of the 13 senior policemen including the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, to Zone 2 Police Command, followed their promotion to the rank of AIGs after those leading the zones moved up the ladder in the Nigerian Police structure.
