The Federal Government has disclosed that the President, Muhamadu Buhari, would address the nation through a televised broadcast that is scheduled to air during the later hours of the day.
It said that Buhari would speak to Nigerians through the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) station, as well as other broadcast platforms nationwide and that the speech would also be transmitted by the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, who confirmed that Buhari would address the nation through a post on his social media page, stated that the Presidential broadcast would be aired at 8 pm on Monday, April 27, 2020.
Adesina enjoined Nigerians to tune in to the national address and urged all television, radio, and electronic media stations in the country to connect with the broadcast through the national platforms.
