A member of the House of Representatives representing Babura/Garki Federal Constituency, Jigawa State, Isa Dogonyaro, has died after a brief illness at age 46.
The deceased, who contested for the seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on health.
The young lawmaker’s demise was confirmed through a statement released by the Spokesman for the House of Representatives, Akin Rotimi, who disclosed that the Dogonyaro was pronounced dead by medical experts at an Abuja hospital on Friday.
