Irate youths have set ablaze the Vehicle Inspection Office, Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) office in Ojodu, Berger axis of Lagos State as attack on public infrastructures intensified.
Properties worth several millions of nairas, including private cars and vehicles belonging to VIO, FRSC, and LASTMA were destroyed by the hoodlums who torched down the facility housing the offices.
As gathered, no fewer than 25 cars were set on fire by the youths who said to have defied the 24-hours curfew introduced by the State Government aimed at preventing avoidable loss of lives and destruction of property.
Confirming the development, the FRSC Lagos spokesperson, Bisi Shonusi, said that the facility and offices it was housing had been set ablaze and that many properties were burning in the inferno.
“Please FRSC AND VIS office attacked and we need fire service urgently,” she sad
