Gunmen kill former Bayelsa Butchers Association Chairman

Unknown gunmen, suspected to be cultists, have killed former Bayelsa State Butchers Association Chairman, Chibuzor Nwachukwu  on Tuesday in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital.

Report has it that  Chibuzor, the former chairman of the Swali market branch of the association, was returning from Happity Hotel to his home at about 8pm Tuesday night when he ran into his killers who laid ambush in front of his house.

The attackers were said to have shot him, after noticing that he was dead, they removed his shirt, took his phone and made away with his money.

The death of Nnwachukwu, it was gathered, has threw residents of Swali area into mourning mood and wondered why the attackers killed the man in his prime.

Chibuzor, 42 years old, who hails from Nkanu community in Enugu State, was married with four children.
