A gang of gunmen has abducted a mother and her two children after invading a village in Kaduna State, causing bodily arm to residents and frightening scene in the area.
The insurgents were said to have jumped into the fence of the kidnappees residence and carted away with the trio alongside one other identified as a relative, all dragged aggressively inside a bus before fleeing.
A close neighbour to the victims at Chikun in Kaduna State, where the incident happened, relayed that one other relative was severely injured in her leg which prevented the kidnappers from abducting her.
Meanwhile, Kaduna state police have begun investigations and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward to assist in the safe recovery of the abducted family members.
As of the time of filing this report, the gunmen have yet to contact the husband of the woman and children to state their demands or ransom.
