Eniola Badmus vows to sue X user over pimp claim

Popular Nollywood actress and Special Adviser to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Eniola Badmus, has denied allegations claiming she acts as a “private pimp,” allegedly linking young women to directors, movie executives, and politicians.

Her denial follows a post by an X user identified as Femzy, who accused the actress of being involved in the alleged illegal activity.

The user further claimed that Badmus gained entry into the political scene through such connections and alleged that several young women had been exploited by politicians through her network.

Responding to the allegations on Thursday, Badmus dismissed the claims as false and malicious, warning that authorities would step in and that she would not tolerate what she described as a defamatory attack on her reputation.

“This is the attention you’ve been craving for, so let’s get into it. This is a false accusation and authorities will step in. Let it be known that we do not forgive in this zone,” she wrote.

Following her response, it was gathered that the user behind the post, issued a public apology, admitting that the claims were baseless and made without evidence.

“I sincerely apologize to Ms. Eniola Badmus, her family, friends, fans, and everyone affected by my recent tweet. The post accusing her of exploitation, linking young girls to movie and political figures, and pimping was wrong, irresponsible, and made without evidence. I deeply regret spreading such damaging and false information,” he wrote.

While many social media users have backed Badmus, noting that her reaction could deter others from making unverified claims against public figures, the actress has yet to publicly acknowledge the apology, leaving uncertainty over whether she will proceed with legal action.
