Amid investigation on bribery allegations against the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and others, controversial crossdresser and social media influencer Idris Okunleye, popularly called Bobrisky, has been arrested by the anti-graft agency at the Lagos Airport.
The crossdresser was arrested while attempting to flee Nigeria for London amid allegations of bribery against him.
Bobrisky was apprehended on Friday morning, hours after a social commentator and the brother of former Ekiti State Governor, Isaac Fayose, on Thursday, shared a photo of himself and Bobrisky as they boarded the same flight to London.
In a viral video seen on X, Bobrisky was later removed from flight, reportedly flying to London, by airport officials and handed over to the EFCC.
He later claimed his arrest was carried out by operatives of the anti-graft agency.
“I’m badly injured, Nigerians help me efcc just arrested me,” he wrote on his Instagram story while sharing a short video of injury.
