A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has dismissed the no-case submission filed by former Acting Accountant-General of the Federation (AGF), Chukwuyenre Nwabuoku, in his ongoing money laundering trial.
Nwabuoku is facing prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over money laundering allegations involving approximately N868 million.
In a ruling delivered on Thursday, Justice James Omotosho held that the prosecution had presented a prima facie case against Nwabuoku, sufficient to require him to enter his defence.
