Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife Aisha Buhari are celebrating 30 years in Marriage as a couple.
Both the President and his wife took to their Social media handles on Monday to make the announcement barely a week after the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo, had their celebration.
Buhari in his post said:“Today, on our 30th Wedding Anniversary, I pray for Allah’s continued peace and blessings in our home and family.”
Aisha Buhari also said: “Alhamdulillah for 30yrs of togetherness.”
On 2 December 1989, Aisha married Muhammadu Buhari and they both have five children together and one grandchild.
Buhari, who is the 23rd child of his father, had divorced his first wife, Safinatu Yusuf, in 1988.
