BAT Ideology group rallies Nigerians for Tinubu’s leadership values

The Convener of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) Ideological Group, Bamidele Atoyebi, has urged Nigerians to embrace and institutionalize the leadership principles and legacy of President Bola Tinubu, describing him as an institution whose ideas can guide future leaders right.

Atoyebi stated that the group’s vision is to promote Tinubu’s ideology of leadership, generosity, humanity, and service, and to raise a new generation of Nigerians who embody those values.

The convener disclosed this during an interview with newsmen yesterday on the group’s ongoing grassroots mobilisation across the country to ensure Nigerians, particularly the youths, embrace the ideology.

“We believe that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is more than a politician; he is an
institution. We want to institutionalize his ideology, his political legacy, and
ensure that we raise people with the spirit of leadership, generosity, and service.”

Atoyebi commended President Tinubu’s administration for taking bold economic decisions,
particularly the removal of fuel subsidy and the floating of the naira, which he described as
transformative policies that have stabilized the economy and reduced public debt.

“The floating of the naira alone has saved many Nigerians from indebtedness. Before Tinubu came into office, people were running into billions of naira in debt because
of the unstable foreign exchange rate. Now, the naira is stabilizing and competing better
with the dollar.”

He explained that the removal of the fuel subsidy redirected national wealth from a few political elites to the ordinary people through initiatives such as NELFUND, student loans, and lecturer support schemes.

“He took from the rich and gave to the poor by using excess funds that political cabals were
enjoying to establish NELFUND and education support loans,” Atoyebi added. “These
projects alone have redefined Nigeria’s economy.”

On the group’s structure, Atoyebi revealed that the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group has coordinators across the country, including in Kano, Jigawa, and Borno States, and consists of over 100 professors, 100 engineers, and 100 medical doctors actively promoting Tinubu’s ideals.

“We are working to capture the elites who understand and can spread the message. Even those who have never met President Tinubu will, through our work, come to know his vision and ideology.”

He emphasized that the group’s mission extends beyond political support to creating a
sustainable ideological platform that will outlive Tinubu’s administration.

“This is not the regular support group that collapses after an election. This is a screening platform for anyone who claims to be a Tinubu protege. You must understand and reflect his principles before you can be called a true disciple.”

Atoyebi also announced the launch of the group’s website, where Nigerians can download the Tinubu Ideological Handbook to learn more about the President’s philosophy and leadership style.

“Nigerians should visit our website and download the handbook. Once they read
it, they can decide for themselves if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the kind of leader they want as a mentor.”

He concluded by reaffirming the group’s commitment to mobilizing Nigerians, particularly the youth and elites, to promote Tinubu’s vision for good governance and national development.
