At least 30 villagers have been killed alongside others wounded following an attack by bandits on a community in Zamfara State.
The armed men invaded the area, and began firing gunshots resulting in the number of casualties as well as others being kidnapped leading to massive unrest and frightening atmosphere at the scene.
According to reports, residents at Dutsin Dan Ajiya village in Anka Local Government Area, where the incident happened yesterday, were caught completely off-guard, some of them fleeing into nearby forests for safety.
Meanwhile, as of the time of filing this report police authorities and the Zamfara state government are yet to confirm the exact number of abductees nor issue a statement on the latest attack.
