In a bid to have a law faculty of internationally standards, Al Hikmah University has commenced the construction of additional structures at the complex to achieve its target goal globally.
According to the Varsity, the additional structures under construction would assist the faculty to have an edifice that accommodates all and boost students’ learning ability.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony of the institution’s second law faculty complex, Al Hikmah’s Proprietor, Alhaji Abdulraheem Oladimeji, tasked the institution management to inspect the project often for quick and quality service delivery to meets international standards in the construction industry.
The proprietor, however, admonished consultant and contractor on the need to utilize available resources in the execution of the projects to meet the desired standard.
While stressing the importance of teamwork to the completion of the faculty of law complex second phase project within the earlier stipulated time frame, Oladimeji urged all stakeholders to reduce the irrational approaches, duplication of works and inter-departmental conflicts that often occur at construction sites.
Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Taofeek Ibraheem, enumerated the importance of the faculty of law complex to the University vision, saying it goal was to be the best among all.
The Vice-chancellor hinted that the completion of the project would be within the estimated budget and specified duration.
Ibraheem tasked the consultants and contractor to make cost benefits analysis their guiding principle in the execution of the project.
He assured the Proprietor that the management would constantly visit the project site to ensure the right specification of all items and completion of work within the earlier stipulated time frame.
