Akeredolu lauds Ondo Tailors Association over 500,000 facemask production

By Temitope Akintoye,

The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has expressed his appreciation for the prompt work of the Ondo Tailors Association in producing coronavirus preventive facemasks ahead of the mandatory use deadline in the state.

Akeredolu, who said that the state’s tailors had risen up to the challenge of manufacturing 500,000 face masks for use by residents, lauded the precision with which the work was being carried out.

The governor, through a post made on his social media page on Wednesday, revealed that he had visited the tailors at the state’s nose mask operation center, and noted that production was on course to meet the state’s mandatory use limit.

“I visited our nose mask operation in Akure. Good to see them working fast to meet the 500,000 masks goal ahead of schedule. Kudos to the tailors association for meeting up to the challenge”, he wrote.
