The authorities in Thailand have appointed new Economy and Deputy Finance Minister as part of activities of cabinet reshuffle.
The ruling arm disclosed that appointments was centered designating credible individuals into the posts as the country aims towards ensuring significant improvements in the sectors which the initiative carried out
Disclosing the list, the Prime Minister, Datuk Ibrahimi, said that Akmal Nasir now get the nod as the new Economy Minister, also announcing that Liew Tong, formerly the Deputy Investment, Trade and Industry Minister, is now the Deputy Finance Minister.
Andulghani, on Tuesday, held that Datuk Seri Abdulghani has been appointed as Investment, Trade and Industry Minister, changing his Cabinet portfolio from Plantation and Commodities Minister.
Ibrahim added that Sim Tzin will assume the post of Deputy Investment, Trade and Industry Minister..
Datuk Ahmad, formerly Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister, takes over from Johari at the helm of the Plantation and Commodities Ministry, KPK, while Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii has been named her deputy.
The Prime Minister informed that a cabinet meeting will follow at 2.30 pm for further discussions on the matter
